At the April 8, 2020 Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD Meeting, Chairman, Larry Colcord and the school board echoed the sentiments of Superintendent, Dr. Keith Laser, BRES Principal, Shawna Kurr, and BRHS Interim Principal, Tricia Campbell to thank all CSD school staff for the outstanding job they are doing since we moved to remote learning on March 16, 2020.
From the teachers and ed techs who are keeping students engaged in remote learning, to the technology and counselors who are keeping everyone connected in every way possible, and special ed services to ensure every student has a way to continue learning. Custodians and maintenance who are working to be sure we are “school ready” when the switch gets turned back on. Admins and secretaries who are working behind the scenes to make sure school is “open” and all school systems are running. And, food service and transportation who are ensuring that almost two hundred students are getting breakfast and lunch every day.
