PTC Meeting tonight at 6pm via Zoom! Check your email for the link! (by the way... most meetings are 30 minutes or less!!!) What does the PTC do? We support student activities, like our new "Garden Club." Here are some students enjoying an after school program that our PTC supports with our fundraising dollars. Students today completed their hydroponic indoor projects planting sage, parsley, lettuce and rosemary. Thank you to our Garden Club leader, Mr. Dan, and our Garden Club volunteer, Mrs. Garey!

FALL FESTIVITIES UPDATE Thank you to our amazing PTC for organizing treat bags for all of our students! On Friday, October 29, we invite all students and staff to dress up like their favorite character for school! Please remember only characters that are school appropriate and not scary are allowed. There will not be a Trunk or Treat this year. We hope to bring back this wonderful Edgecomb tradition next year.

Reminder, EES school picture day is TOMORROW ! Friday, October 15th We are using a new company this year, Soggy Dog Designs. Wendy, our photographer, is looking forward to taking some beautiful outdoor photographs tomorrow during school. We will schedule a makeup day, to be determined. You may order on their website: www.soggydogdesigns.com or send in the paper flyer that was sent home with your student a few weeks ago.

The Edgecomb Historical Society will be having a meeting next week and would love as many interested Edgecomb and area residents to share in the discussion. The Historical Society is a wonderful learning tool for children and families. The following is a message from EHS: "We strongly encourage all past and present members of The Edgecomb Historical Society area residents and friends of Edgecomb history to attend a very important meeting to discuss the future of the EHS at Town Hall on Thursday, October 14th, at 7:00 p.m. Since the future of The EHS is in jeopardy, we would welcome input from all attendees."

News! There is now bus transportation available from Edgecomb Eddy School to the Wiscasset Community Center for after school care. See their website for details on the program at WCC. Please remember to communicate any changes to your transportation plans for your student to BOTH their classroom teacher and Mrs. Cooper in the office. Thank you! Reminder! Our whole school (including all staff) will be at Camp Knickerbocker all day tomorrow, Thursday June 10th. There will be no one answering the phones at EES. If you need to communicate any changes to your plan please email Mrs. Cooper, or Mr. Michaud. We will be checking email throughout the day. Please join us from your home while you enjoy your own spaghetti supper. We will be finishing up last minute bidding during that time, and at 6:25 we will close the bidding, and announce the winners of all the artwork!!!
